Beaded Edge Westmoreland
Pattern: Manufacturer: Dates Manufactured: Colors: Called Beaded Edge by collectors, the official name of this Westmoreland pattern is "Pattern #2 Milk Glass". Pieces were made plain & decorated. Some were also made with red edges. While there are not a lot of individual pieces in this pattern, there is a wide variety of different decorations that appeared on them, including many different flowers, fruits and foods.
Individual items made in this pattern include: 2 different Footed Creamers & Sugars; Cup & Saucer; 2 Nappies - 5" & 6" Oval with crimped edge; 5 Plates - 6" Bread & Butter, 7" Salad,8 1/2" Luncheon, 10 1/2" Dinner, 15" torte & 12" oval with tab handles; 3 Part Relish; Salt & Pepper Shakers; Footed Sherbet; 8 ounce Tumbler. Although most items are not particularly valuable, the decorated items are the most valuable, followed by the red edged pieces and the plain items are the least expensive. The salt & pepper shakers and 12" oval platter are considered to be the most valuable items.
