Canterbury
Pattern: Canterbury Manufacturer: Duncan and Miller Glass Company Dates Manufactured: 1937 Colors: Crystal (clear), Sapphire Blue, Cape Cod Blue, Ruby, Cranberry Pink, Chartreuse and Jasmine Yellow.
This pattern is also known as Line Number 115. It was a "blank" pattern that was used for several Duncan & Miller etched patterns, most notably First Love. The clear pieces are more plentiful, easier to find and less expensive than the colored pieces. The Sapphire Blue is a light blue, Chartreuse is a yellow-green color. Cape Cod Blue is opalescent, as is Jasmine Yellow and some Cranberry pieces. This is a large pattern and it has many pieces - most of the pieces are amazingly afforable. This is a good pattern if you are looking for simple elegance at a reasonable price. Here are the current listings on eBay; Leave Canterbury, Go to Elegant Glass SuzieMax.com Home
