Pattern: Columbia Depression Glass
Manufacturer: Federal Glass Company
Dates Manufactured: 1938 to 1942
Colors: Mainly crystal clear, some pink
There were only four pieces made in pink and they are hard to find and more
valuable than the clear. They are a Cup & Saucer set and two plates -
a 6" Bread & Butter plate and a 9 1/2" luncheon plate. Of the four
pieces, the luncheon plate is the most valuable.
The butter dish, tumblers, bowls and snack plate are among the hardest to
find (and therefore most valuable) pieces in the clear.
Some pieces have ruby or other color flashing, pastel bands and floral
decals. These are all considered rare and it can be very difficult to
complete an entire set. |
