Glass Identification

I get so many questions about Glass Identification I set up this page. If you have a piece you cannot identify, please use the form below to describe the piece and upload a picture. A picture is a must - there is no way that glass can be identified on a written description. Please keep in mind there have been thousands of glass patterns manufactured for over 100 years in the USA and the majority of them are undocumented. Only a small number of those are classified as Depression Glass, Elegant Glass or 40s50s60s collectible glass that is of interest to collectors and documented.

Please give as much information and a picture so we can help.
Also, please put your email address in the submission form so you can be notified when someone leaves you an answer or comment. You email address will not be used for any other purpose or shared with anyone ever.

I will be happy to help you identify your item if I can, however I cannot identify anything without a picture. Also, I cannot help you determine the value of your item.

If you are trying to determine value, I suggest you search the completed listings on eBay.

If you are a glass collector, please browse through some of the questions below and see if you can help us out! Thanks!
