Colors: Crystal (Clear), Iridescent, Some Pink and Green.
Iris and Herringbone is one of the most popular and easily identifiable
patterns. It is considered to be both a Depression Glass Pattern and a
40s, 50s, 60s Pattern. The Depression Glass Items were all Clear &
Pink. The Iridescent Pieces were made in the 1950s and the Clear items
were also made into the 1950s. In the 1970s it was made in Milk Glass.
Iris and Herringbone has smooth moulded iris flowers and leaves over
a background of a moulded herringbone pattern. Some footed items and
some bowl bottoms have moulded rays. Later pieces do not have
the rays. This is a pattern that has something for almost every collector.
