Ships Depression Glass

	Pattern: Ships Depression Glass - this pattern may also be called Sailboat or Sportsman Series Manufacturer: Hazel Atlas Glass Company Dates Manufactured: Late 1930s Colors: Cobalt Blue with White, Yellow or Red Decorations and Crystal (Clear) with Blue Decorations The Decorations included Sailboats, Fish, Dogs, Horses, Skiing, Golfing, Dancing and even Nursery Rhymes. This is definitely a set geared towards men - almost all of the pieces are for enjoying alcoholic beverages and still today would make a really nice bar set.


Items made in this pattern included: Cup & Saucer; Cocktail Mixer with Stirrer; Cocktail Shaker; Ice Bowl; 2 Style Pitchers - 82 ounce & 86 ounce; 3 Plates - 5 7/8" Sherbet, 8" Salad & 9" Dinner and 11 Tumblers (!) - 2 ounce Shot Glass, 3 1/2" Whiskey, 2 Style 4 ounce - one is 3 1/4", 5 ounce Juice, 6 ounce "Roly-Poly", 8 ounce Old Fashioned, 9 ounce Water - 2 Styles, one is straight, 10 1/2 ounce Iced Tea and 12 ounce Iced Tea.
