Blue Willow China
Blue Willow China is one of the most popular and well-recognized china patterns produced. The design originated around the late 1700s, created by Josiah Spode. The concept was taken from China with a pattern called Mandarin. The original design includes a willow tree with love birds hovering nearby (thus the name), a Chinese style home with a bridge, three people with servants and a small Chinese boat.

Franciscan Dinnerware
Franciscan Dinnerware began in the early 1930s as a production of Gladding McBean & Company. Located in California, this company created dozens of patterns and styles of tableware. The Lock Joint Pipe Company merged with Gladding in the early 1960s, but continued making the dinnerware out of the California facility until 1984. At that point the production of these wares moved to England, with some of the latter patterns created in China and Japan.
