Cobalt blue Vase Identification

by earlene z
(breckenridge, texas)

I have an old cobalt blue vase that has been in my family for years. My Grandmother owned it from before I was old enough to remember. I am not interested in selling it, but I am curious about it. It has "USA 2" markings on the bottom. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Hi Earlene -
I am not familiar with this pattern but I will put this up and hopefully someone will come along who knows that it is! Is anyone familiar with this pattern?

I own several of these vases in two different sizes. My first two came from my grandmother who was given them as a wedding gift back in the 1920s. They are called "Double Beehive" but the maker is unknown.

The vase is a double beehive, maker unknown. It comes in two different sizes. My grandmother had two of them which I now have. I have collected several more over the past 20 months and have paid anywhere from 99 cents to $12.00 for each one. I was told that they came in big boxes of detergent during the depression era.

I have the same blue cobalt vase and it belonged to my grandmother. I can remember it all of my life. I'm 65 now and I know that it has to older than me. Anyone have any ideas on the age of it and name of pattern?? Thanks!
