Glass Identification Request: Green Twist Handle Pitcher Basket Unknown Pattern

by Alex
(Chicago )

It is a green Pitcher with a twisted handle. Measures just over 9" tall. I cannot locate the pattern and want to complete the set. It is a basket with leaf scroll work.

Hi Alex!

BEAUTIFUL PIECE! I love the reeded handle! It really does look like a piece dated somewhere from 1910 - 1930. The applied handle really shows it was made by a "better" glass company.

I looked through my books and didn't see this pattern but there is a website you might want to spend a little time clicking around. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping someone has posted a pic of this pattern. Go to this website and be sure to bookmark it:

Click on the folder that says Elegant & Depression Glass. I know Cambridge has patterns with baskets so "maybe" this is one of theirs.

I had a console bowl that I couldn't locate the maker UNTIL I went to this website and WAH LAH there it was! LOL

Good luck ID'ing this! I would think a pattern this pretty has been photographed and posted at that website. Have fun building your new collection! Have a great day!
