Glass pattern to identify, circa 1950

Glass plate - circa 1950

Hi!

My mother had a set of glass dishes which I believe were purchased for her small wedding reception in 1952. There were the rectangular divided plates (picture shown), punch bowl, and punch cups which as I recall had beaded handles like the plate shown. I think the bowl and most if not all the cups were broken, but I have 8 of these plates. I was just curious what the pattern was, for sentimental reasons.

ANCHOR-HOCKING

My mother has the same set. I have seen them on ebay listed as Anchor-Hocking sandwich plates.

Interesting plate

Hi,
I have about twenty of these plates with the matching cups. I got them from a friend of my family who is an auctioneer.
If you look closely at the plate, one corner has a cigarette holder - the plate has a built in ashtray! Guess, back then, you could have your food, drink and ashtray all in one!

I love these, but haven't had a chance to use mine yet...they are kinda heavy.
