Identification Help - Depression Glass?

I have two pieces of what I think may be depression glass. The first appears to be a compote, perhaps (I picked up at a yard sale cause I thought it was beautiful). It is 10" in diameter and has a floral & leaf pattern etched into it and is a beautiful light, translucent green.

The second, which belonged to my Grandmother, is a 7.5" diameter possibly a dainties plate, also with a floral & leaf motif etched and is a very light blue.

Both are octagonal in shape and appear to be pressed glass. They have no makers mark that I can find (I am new to this stuff).
