Is this depression glass? Depression Glass Identification

Question: I took some barware from my great Uncle's house when he passed away a few years ago. Someone recently told me that this piece might be depression glass. I've been attempting to find a similar pattern on the internet, but can't seem to find anything similar. It's a very pale blue, solid, thick, and rather heavy piece. The handle is silver and covered in a small dented pattern (not sure what the correct term is). The piece looks like it was rarely, if ever used. I'm just looking for some general information on it (who might have made it, era, etc?). Thanks for any help! Alena
My Answer: Hi Alena - I think your piece is an Ice Bucket in the Caprice pattern. Caprice is an Elegant Glass Pattern made in the 1940s & 1950s by the Cambridge Glass Company. I did verify that there was an ice bucket made in this pattern. FYI - the "book value" on it is $185.
