I have a green Miss America Butter dish and would like to know how you can tell if it is a copy. I love the design and don't mind if it is a copy of the original, I would just like to know if it is a copy. It is my favorite butter dish.

No miss america butter dishes were originally made in green, only reproductions. You can also tell by how the knob on top of the dish is sitting on what looks like a kind of stem. The original clear and pink ones sit directly on a dome as opposed to a flat surface on a stem such as this piece.
